In accordance with the order of the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 25, 2025, and in order to implement Presidential Decree No. PF-9 of January 12, 2024, “On measures to sharply increase the flow of foreign tourists to the Republic and further accelerate domestic tourism,” the Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan, together with the Association of Cooks of Uzbekistan, organized a two-day seminar and master classes on April 23–24, 2025, dedicated to the organization and management of public catering.
Chefs and waitstaff from food service establishments and hotels of Nukus city took part in the seminar and master classes.
The training sessions were conducted by the Chief Technologist of the Association of Cooks of Uzbekistan — Tolibjon Umaraliev, and the master chef of the Association — Azamat Ruzibaev.
During the seminar, participants studied sanitary and hygiene requirements for enterprises, duties of chefs and waiters, preparation of establishments for service, types of dishes and utensils used, as well as guest service methods and types of table setting.
The master classes demonstrated modern methods of preparing salads, soups, main courses, and desserts.
Participants received answers to all their questions.
