The presentation of catering services and a master class on national cuisine for members of the Diplomatic Women’s Club Tashkent

On February 15 of this year, the Diplomatic Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, together with the Uzbekistan Chefs Association, organized an event dedicated to the presentation of catering services and a master class on national cuisine for members of the Diplomatic Women’s Club Tashkent.

During the event, the diplomatic community was introduced to a new catering concept developed for high-level events. Leading Uzbek chefs demonstrated modern interpretations of national dishes, where traditional recipes are harmoniously combined with international culinary trends. This approach not only preserves cultural heritage but also makes Uzbek cuisine even more attractive to foreign guests.

Special attention was given to the adaptation of dishes: our experts demonstrated how classic Uzbek cuisine can be presented in a modern format, and how international recipes can be adjusted to suit the tastes of the Uzbek audience. This is an important step in the development of gastronomic tourism and the expansion of cultural dialogue.

The catering presentation highlighted the professionalism of Uzbek chefs and their ability to meet global service standards. Guests were offered an exclusive menu that combined authentic Uzbek flavors with elegant presentation, adapted for diplomatic and international events.

Further cooperation with diplomatic missions and international organizations is planned to promote Uzbek cuisine on a global scale.

— “Culinary diplomacy as a tool of international cooperation! Culinary art has long become a powerful diplomatic instrument that unites cultures and peoples. The event held was not just a demonstration of culinary skills, but a platform for exchanging experience and strengthening international ties,” said Akbar Umarov, Chairman of the Uzbekistan Chefs Association.

The master class allowed participants to explore the intricacies of Uzbek cuisine, discuss the prospects for the development of gastronomic tourism, and explore opportunities for further collaboration in the field of catering.

The Uzbekistan Chefs Association expresses sincere gratitude to the Diplomatic Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan for its assistance in organizing the event and for supporting initiatives aimed at developing diplomatic and cultural ties through gastronomy.

We are confident that joint projects will continue to contribute to the popularization of Uzbek cuisine abroad, the strengthening of international relations, and the expansion of opportunities for gastronomic tourism in Uzbekistan.

The event once again confirmed that tradition and innovation can coexist in harmony, creating a unique product that captures attention and inspires. We thank all participants for their interest, enthusiasm, and support, and look forward to new joint initiatives!
