On April 16, 2025, an international round table titled “Horizons of International Cooperation in Technical and Vocational Education” was held in Almaty. The event was organized by the Almaty College of Technological Finance and Innovation and supported by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Chairman of the Association of Cooks of Uzbekistan, Akbar Umarov, took part in the event on behalf of the organization. During the round table, he presented Uzbekistan’s experience in developing culinary education, spoke about the Association’s international projects, and emphasized the importance of interregional exchange of knowledge and best practices.

Special attention was given to issues related to dual education, cooperation with industry enterprises, and the training of competitive specialists in the fields of gastronomy and hospitality.

The Otrar Hotel Complex, which served as the venue for the event, was also showcased as a successful platform for the practical training of college students, demonstrating a high level of integration between education and business.
