On June 23, 2025, within the framework of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Mongolia, the Uzbekistan–Mongolia Tourism Forum titled “Uzbekistan — The Pearl of the Great Silk Road” was held in Ulaanbaatar.

The forum gathered more than 150 representatives of leading tourism organizations and media from both countries. The event featured presentations highlighting Uzbekistan’s tourism potential, new infrastructure projects, and ongoing reforms in ecological, pilgrimage, and gastronomic tourism.

At the conclusion of the forum, a folklore performance showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the Uzbek people was presented. Guests were also offered a traditional Uzbek dinner prepared by representatives of the Uzbekistan Chefs Association.

The forum became an important step in strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and Mongolia in the field of tourism, deepening cultural ties, and promoting promising bilateral initiatives.
