The HALAL COMMISSION of the World Platform of Islamic Countries Culinary  Societies has officially appointed  Ishaag Solih as a representative in Maldives

Bachelor in Culinary Arts Management at Maldives National University and Diploma in Hotel Catering and Institutional Operation at FHTS and Birmingham endorsed program, by Maldives national collage. Chef Ishag started his professional career at Full Moon Beach Resort in 1999 as commis, and he moved several other places where his experience benefited him in reaching greater heights. Over the 18 years he had overseas training at Bangkok and Huawa Hin and Bankok, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Japan and Germany, in these training he build his capacity and became Executive Chef 2 different resorts in Maldives and worked in a senior level in five star resorts in Maldives.

He has taken part of culinary competitions in local and overseas, so far on his credit 4 gold and 3 silver medals. Chef Ishaq has achieved numerous award in his related area in the industry, best chef, best food and beverage staff, most enterprising employee, leader of the quarter, best manager, best establishment and perfect attendance of the year.

Chef Ishaq in the food industry over 30 years and become as executive 2010 and ever since he worked as executive chef, currently working in Maldives as executive chef

Chef Ishag attended world chef’s congress 2016 to represent Maldives chefs association “CGM”, very first time. This was his dream become true to hold international chef’s forum with his chef jacket.

Chef Ishag was awarded both national and city council award on cooking in tourism industry.

Chef Ishaq worked with 2015 Sri-lankan culinary completion, organized by Chef Guild of Lanka. He work as observer to get international culinary exposure and get aware of international judging experience with WACS approved international judges.

Chef Ishaq is active member of culinary judge by the Chef’s Guild of Maldives (CGM) and last 3 years chef Ishag is a member of Hotel Asia Culinary Challenge Judge committee and also a Judge of Food and Hospitality Asia Maldives Culinary Challenge. Chef Ishag is also Vice President to Chefs Guild of Maldives.

Chef Ishaq is worked in the Food and Hospitality Asia Maldives Culinarry Challenge Judging team in the year 2017

Chef Ishag is worked in the Hotel Asia Maldives Culinarry Challenge Judging team in the year 2017

Chef Ishag is WACS approve B License Judge, who is the 1st Maldivian who got approve since the year 2017

Chef Ishag is worked FHA Singapore judging team in the year 2018
