Goals and objectives


Purpose of creation of the Association of Cooks of Uzbekistan:

• Creation of favorable conditions for the further development of the catering chain;

• Improving the catering network;

• Facilitating the establishment of partnerships of directors of the catering network with foreign partners;

• Promoting of active promotion of Uzbek cuisine and service to foreign markets;

• Uniting and supporting of members of the Association;

• Providing the interests of the members of the Association;

• Formation of an integrated system for the development of catering, service and hospitality in Uzbekistan.


The goals and objectives of the Association according to the Charter of the Association of Cooks of Uzbekistan:

• Ensuring the preservation of the national heritage and cooking culture;

• The revival of endangered species of the Uzbek national culinary art;

• Promoting the development of national culinary art;

• Promoting healthy lifestyles and proper nutrition among the population, especially young people;

• Organization of training of highly qualified specialists for the catering industry, recommendations on the selection of high-quality food products produced in the republic and abroad;

• Improving the qualifications of catering specialists, as well as conducting master classes with the involvement of leading chefs of Uzbekistan and foreign countries;

• Interaction with the Center for Secondary Special and Vocational Education in the issues of training specialists in the sphere of catering and hotel industry;

• Organization of practical training for students of vocational colleges, cooperation with state and non-governmental organizations in their employment;

• Promotion of competition in the field of catering;

• Attracting foreign investment to organize modern food production facilities, including national ones, on an industrial scale;

• Provision of catering organizations with professional equipment, design, supply of equipment from the factory at lower prices.

• Interaction with the World Association of Chefs Community (WАСS), participation in its events;

• Promotion of the national cuisine of Uzbekistan abroad, its unique properties and methods of preparation, the formation of a positive image of national dishes and culinary products, including through participation in international exhibitions, conferences and seminars;

• Establishment and further strengthening of relations with relevant organizations of foreign countries for the implementation of their best practices and cooking technology and service culture in public catering organizations;

• Training, as well as demonstration and dissemination of the achievements of the national culinary art of Uzbekistan in the international arena;

• Organization of contests, quizzes, exhibitions, festivals and special days of cuisines of various nationalities, cultural and educational events in the republic, including in the regions;

• Provision of information services, production and distribution, including abroad, of special editions, books, magazines and booklets, electronic editions that promote and promote the national cuisine of Uzbekistan, as well as active coverage of public catering issues in the media.


The Association of Cooks of Uzbekistan is a public organization; every specialist who loves and respects culinary art can join it.
